Finally some other guitars from my collection. A Hohner LP59 which made me fall in love with Les Pauls, a Hohner ST Victory a Kay ET200 which I learned all of The Who Live at Leeds on. Not easy as you could get your arm under the strings on the neck. My first electric guitar. Late addition

because I only just remembered it.

Gary’s Fender Fat Strat. Bought in 1997. Used on “I am very afraid” from “Won’t Reach the Fifth in 2000.

This guitar was used extensively live and was generally used and abused. If anyone attended a Kittens show which culminated with a gear smash up it was probably this guitar. It was very easy to put back together!

Gary’s very first amp was a Pianomate 5 or 10 watt creature which when cranked to the mix gave out a phenomenal overdriven growl. Apparently, these amps are supposed to be used with keyboards but work very well with guitars.
